Kevin Austin  /  Sales & Software

Twenty-seven years in sales. A master’s in software engineering. I build the systems that sell.

I sell residential home services in Tampa Bay, and I build AI systems for small businesses through my studio, Eureka Pathways. It’s the same job twice: find where the revenue leaks out, then close the gap — with a process, a script, or working software.

  • 27 Years in sales — in‑home, high‑ticket, face to face.
  • M.S. Master’s degree in software engineering. Earned on purpose.
  • 3 Licensed trades I sell every week: HVAC, electrical, plumbing.
  • 24/7 OnCall Desk — the AI front desk I built and now sell.

01  /  The through‑line

Most companies don’t have a sales problem.
They have a system problem that happens to show up on the sales board.

  • Find the leak first. The fix is cheap once you know where it is.
  • Buy before you build. Half of what people ask me to build already ships in a tool they pay for.
  • Hand it over running. A system nobody owns is a system that stops.

I’ve spent nearly three decades in rooms where somebody has to decide, today, whether to spend real money. That teaches you something a dashboard never will: deals aren’t lost at the close. They’re lost at the unanswered phone, the callback that never happened, the quote that took three days, the follow‑up nobody owned.

So I went and got a master’s in software engineering — not to change careers, but to stop being the person who could only describe the problem. Now I can build the fix.

That’s the whole practice. I take the parts of a business that leak revenue quietly — intake, follow‑up, dispatch, rehash, reporting — and I replace them with something that runs whether or not anyone remembers to run it. Sometimes that’s a rewritten process and a one‑page script. Sometimes it’s an AI agent answering the phone at 11pm. The judgment call about which one you actually need is the part 27 years bought me.

02  /  What I do

Three lanes, one discipline

They look like different jobs from the outside. From the inside they’re the same one: make the next step happen without a hero having to remember it.

  1. 01

    AI systems & automation

    Through Eureka Pathways

Practical AI that does work, not slide decks about AI. Agents that answer calls and book jobs, automations that carry a lead from first contact to a scheduled appointment, and the unglamorous plumbing between the tools a business already pays for. I design it, build it, install it, and hand it over running.

    • AI agents
    • Voice & SMS intake
    • Workflow automation
    • CRM integration
    • AI strategy
  2. 02

    Sales process & enablement

    The part most software skips

A tool can’t save a process that was never written down. I build the actual thing being automated first: the call flow, the in‑home presentation, the objection library, the rehash cadence, the one page a new rep can hold in their hand on day one. Written by someone who still has to use it on Monday.

    • Call & appointment flow
    • In-home presentation
    • Objection handling
    • Rehash & follow-up
    • Rep onboarding
  3. 03

    Home services, in the field

    Still selling, every week

I haven’t left the field, and that’s deliberate. Selling HVAC, electrical and plumbing to homeowners in Tampa Bay keeps every system I build honest — because I’m one of the people who has to live with it. If a workflow adds a step for the person in the truck, I find out the same week.

    • HVAC
    • Electrical
    • Plumbing
    • Residential replacement
    • Financed high-ticket

03  /  Where I spend the week

Three roofs

Two I run, one I work in. They feed each other — the field and the crews hand the studio real problems, and the studio hands them back real tools.

An AI consulting and automation studio for small businesses. We install working systems and hand them over — agents, automations and the integration work in between. Tell me where the revenue is leaking

If something in your business only works when a specific person remembers to do it, that’s the thing to fix first. Write to me and describe it — I’ll tell you straight whether it’s worth building, buying, or leaving alone.
